Nitrous oxide is a colorless gas, slightly sweet. It is soluble in ethanol, ether and concentrated sulfuric
acid and slightly soluble in water. It has no apparent smell and can
be combustion - supporting. Nitrous oxide is mainly used as anesthetics
in dentistry, surgery and the department of gynecology and obstetrics. It
is also used as leak detector, combustion improver, refrigerant, antiseptic, atomic absorption spectrum gas, chemical
raw material, balancing gas in semiconductor
manufacturing, vapor deposition, oxidant, standard gas, aerosol
sprayer, medical gas, leak detecting with vacuum or pressure.
