Detailed Oxytetracycline Dihydrate Capsules Description
Features:
a) Ingredients: each capsule contains 250mg of oxytetracycline
dihydrate
b) Indication: antibiotic used for treatment of typhus, primary- atypical
pneumonia, enteritis, bacillary and amoebic dysentery, meningitis
scarlet fever, venereal
lymphogranuloma, wound infections abscesses, neurotic syphilis, and effective for the infections
caused by penicillin - resistant gram - positive coccl
c) Dosage:
1) Adults: 250 - 500mg each time, 4 times a day
2) Children: 250mg / kg (body ) in 4 divided doses a day
d) Storage: stored in cool and dry places below 25oC
