Detailed Chint Series QZB Step - down Auto - transformer Description
Applicable scope:
Series QZB step - down autotransformers are used for voltage dropping
starting in three - phase squirrel - case induction motors with circuits of
AC 50Hz, rated output power of 300kW
and below, rated voltages of 660V and below, under conditions of infrequent operation.
Structure and characteristics:
This transformer series is provided with two groups of starting voltage
taps - 65% (60%) and 80%.
The voltage dropping characteristic of the transformer is used to reduce
the starting current of the motor and to perfect the effect of the motor
against the transmission network when starting. If smaller starting torque is needed, tap of
65% (60%) can be chosen; if bigger starting torque is needed, tap of 80%
can be chosen. The transformer can be assembled in series XJZ1 and JJ1,
with auto negative boosting starting boxes as main parts.
