Detailed Metal Spiral - Wound Gaskets Description
Features:
a) Spiral wound metal jacketed gaskets are widely used on the pipe
flanges of oil refining, metallurgy, medicine, fuel electric power
generation, astronautic, chemical and shipbuilding industries
b) They can also be used on sealing covers of pressure vessels, towers,
heat exchangers, groovers and pumps
c) Proper mediums:
1) Liquids: water, heated oil, oil, acid, alkali, fluid - stated hydrogen,
fluid - stated oxygen and low - temperature liquid gas
2) Gases: air steam, hydrocai'ban gases and other gases that
penetrate easily
d) These jacketed gaskets can be made upon request: minimum
inside diameter is 20mm and maximum outside diameter is 2200mm
e) The thickness "T" of the sealing parts of the gaskets is of four kinds:
2.5mm, 3.2mm, 4.5mm, 6.5mm
f) We can make special kinds according to your diagrams,
APl601, that the JPI, ANSI, BS can be adopted
